The next morning Alejandro showers three times and walks into the House through the back door of a bar where politicians laugh the way they never do on camera. Vázquez is waiting with a red folder and a photo circled in pen: Petrov, Alexei, no record before 1998. If you ever see him, abort. At the Café Gijón, Dalia brings Ethan the kind of news you don't put in writing. And on Alfonso XII, an investors' dinner seats Alejandro one meter from the hand that signed his death, while someone follows him a hundred meters back, counting his steps.
